The Food Hub will provide a walk-in pantry where the visitors can get better access to quality food including fresh produce, dairy products, frozen meals and non-perishable food items as well as household and hygiene items.  The Hub will be located at The Water Market, 237 Victoria Road, Lunenburg, NS.  We broke ground on July 21, 2025 and expect the building to be delivered in mid-August and should be operational shortly thereafter. We still need community support to see the project over the finish line!!!  We have had amazing support from Lohnes Dig and Push for excavation, Green Team for landscaping fabric and South Shore Sand and Gravel who slung about 22 tonnes of gravel ready for PosTech Bridgewater who put the screw piles in ready for beams to support the building. Ironbound General Contractors came through and put together the support beams this week.  That is Phase I complete!!!  Building is scheduled for delivery August 19th!!!

Part 1 of Phase II is now complete thanks to EastCut and Dora construction.  Building is on site and ready for inspection.  Next part of this phase is get the building weather tight.  That means doors and windows, siding and roofing. It has been a very busy week. 

After that we're gonna get really busy with Phase III finishing the accessibility ramp, internal walls and finishes... We want to open this to those in need by mid September.  Let's make this happen community!!!
